Work to Live, not Live to Work

6 Apr

We have had a loss in our family this week, which always makes your re-evaluate your priorities and question certain areas of your life.

Reading the obituary in the Irish Independent yesterday made me think, why do we put some much emphasis on our work life, our titles, promotions, office sq. footage and climbing the corporate ladder?

In our line of work at Busy Lizzie, we assist people every day to manage their work:life balance, allowing them to spend more time doing the things they love, and seeing the people who are most important.

We talk about a work:life balance, but really shouldn’t it be a life:work balance?
